Adoption funding sites epitomize the essence of child trafficking. Contributing or hosting an adoption funding site supports the idea of taking children from their families and children out of their cultures, creating identity confusion and a lifetime of trauma. Caring about children allows them to be financed in their own families, in their own cultures and helping children stay where their identity has been established. Orphanages in other countries need funding, not children taken. Many families have children in the orphanages because that is the only way they can take care of them and still have them in their lives.

For the love of God, please stop the adoption funding and stop taking children from their families. Help them. Identify a child or children and help them with the money that would be spent on adopting. Send the money regularly. That money will go much further toward a child growing up healthy, educated and giving back to their own culture to make things better in their country. Help families domestically to keep their children, mentor them with parenting skills, help them with housing, help them with taking care of their children while they get their lives together. Please stop taking children that God has placed where He has placed them and believing that adoption is doing something “better” for them than what God intended.
